Peru offers multiple outdoor locations, beautiful natural sceneries considered the most beautiful on the planet. Also in the Peruvian Andes, with more than 12 000 lakes and hundreds of mountains that exceed 6,000 meters, made a traveler into a lover. Many reasons: a unique concentration of mountains, moderate climate for most of the year and relatively simple access to environments nevertheless cut from hectic city life.   • ITINERARY DETAILS:

    DAY 01: HUARAZ – LLAMAC - CUARTELWAIN 

    After breakfast at hotel we will travel by private bus, leaving Huaraz City and head to the south side of Huaraz at 3100 meters and then continue our journey visiting the towns of Recuay, Ticapampa and Catac villages see flora and fauna of each village chiquian, Llamac until Pocpa community of where we start with our van for a while approx. 4 hours until our first camp called Cuartelwain. Overnight.

    DAY 02: MATACANCHA - PASO CACANAN - MITUCOCHA

    After breakfast at the camp we will start our walk approx. 4 hours to reach the Cacanan pass to 4700 meters to continue our journey to reach our next camp where we stay the night at the foot of the Mitucocha lagoon at 4200 meters.

    DAY 03: MITUCOCHA – CARHUACOCHA

    After breakfast we continue our trek, starting with a road grass and started up a small valley from this place we will have a view of snow-capped Yerupajá and Siula big and little, and began to descend toward Carhuacocha lagoon. Camp.

    DAY 04: CARHUACOCHA – PASO CARNICERO - HUAYHUASH

    After breakfast get ready our camping equipment, continue to the Carnicero step at 4700 meters  in every walk we observe beautiful views and also the snowy Raura and so we continue our trek to the camp at 4200 meters Huayhuash.

    DAY 05: HUAYHUASH – VICONGA LAGOON

    As usual after breakfast, we start our trek having beautiful views Quesillococha landscape, following our walk will find a lot of vegetation around us then we arrive at our next camp which is the Viconga Lagoon at 4400 meters this day we can visit and bathe in the medicinal thermal waters.

    DAY 06: FREE DAY   

    To enjoy the warm waters.

    DAY 07: VICONGA LAGOON –HUANACPATAY  (SAN ANTONIO MIRADOR)

    After breakfast at our camp about 07:00 a.m. We continue our journey, this time we left the Viconga lagoon camp to ascend to the highest point of our journey called Cuyoc step at 5000 metres where we can see the beautiful Cuyoc, Puscanturpa, Trapeze , Siula, Yerupajá, Sarapo, jurao and others snowcapped, and then descend to our camp at 4200 meters  Huanacpatay.

    DAY 08: HUNACPATAY  - HUATIAC

    After breakfast descend on a trail very easy approx. 4 hours to Huayllapa town where we stop for lunch and then climb for a while approx. from 3:30 until our next camp called Huatiac.

    DAY 09: HUATIAC – JAHUACOCHA

    Very early after our energy breakfast we started our trek as this day we wait 2 high pass the first one is about two hours of the camp the Tapush step at 4800 meters then down to 4400 meter and continue up to the Yaucha step then down to 4200 meters to our beautiful camp Jauacocha. 

    DAY 10: JAHUACOCHA                                                                                                                                           

    This day is free to enjoy a quiet hike to Cocha Single lagoon and you can climb to the viewpoint Sambunya where it has a beautiful view of the Cordillera Huayhuash, return to camp. Overnight

    DAY 11: JAHUACOCHA – LLAMAC 

    This time our breakfast will be at 08:00 am then begin an easy walk to get to where we began our expedition, our transportation is waiting to take us back to Huaraz.
